FAITH LIKE MYSKA

This passage makes a comparison of Myska's faith, Ocean's faith and at worse Victor's faith. The name 'Victor' meant to be victorious but it do not justifies his name cos he do not walk in faith, but walks in unbelief. He doubts and mistrusts the One who is faithful. He believed more in the things he sees with his senses rather trusting the invisible attributes of God. Victor limits God and do not trust God.

On the other hand, Ocean has faith in God, but he doesn't have roots. He easily get shaken when the storms and winds passed through his life. When he hears the promise and word of God, he get excited and elated, but the cares of the world chokes God's word out of his life. It's really sad and disheartening, when he was so close to see the promise of God, he walked away. Not once but several time.

It is heartbreaking for the Lord when He says, ''Wait my son. Don't walk away. You are just 3 steps away from the promise I gave you." God who calls you is faithful. It is disheartening for the Lord to see his child without faith and says, ''Lord, I have been waiting for this so long. I can't take this anymore. I am walking away." But God says, ''Wait my son. Why is that you don't trust Me ? Where is your faith ?"

God said to Job, '' Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?" (Job 32:27) What may look too big, too intimidating and too difficult for you is nothing before the Lord. What is impossible with man, is possible with God. For all things are possible with God. Not by power, not by might, but by My Spirit says the Lord. Jesus is the Lord. Amen!

Now let's look at the faith of Myska. She trust in the Lord even when no one is trusting. She might be small and insignificant but great is her faith. She takes initiative and surprised God with her faith. How wonderful when the Lord says, ''I have not seen anyone with faith like Myska. I cannot let her down nor anyone who trust Me. Whatever it might takes, I will never let her face be ashamed. I love her faith. Great is her faith. I wish that Ocean have same faith like her or even more. I pray Victor may come out of his unbelief and believe in Me just like she do."

Myska believed everything God said to her. Not once she arosed doubts over God's word. She obeyed everything God said to her. It was her faith and loving initiative that moved God to great action and performed mighty signs and wonders to let her know that God honor those, who honor Him. Was it not for Myska's faith, you wouldn't be even reading this beautiful passage. When you put your faith in God, in your word and your deeds, He is compelled to move and work on your behalf.

''They looked to Him (Jesus) and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.'' (Psalm 34:5). Amen!

THREE PRINCIPLES IN RIVER JABBOK

God desires to change you and renew your mind. It always happens in the river that literally means in your prayer closet. God changed Jacob to Israel in the River Jabbok.  The name Jacob means supplanter and trickster, while Israel means prince of God.

There are always two versions of you. One is Jacob and the other is Israel  i.e. one is ungodly man of your past and the other one is a new man in Christ. Whichever mode you feed, that will grow.  Feed the new man in Christ with the word of God or else the world will feed the ungodly man of your past. God can change you from your old sinful nature to a righteous and godly man.

Let's see the three principles in River Jabbok :

1. Be alone with God in prayer :
When you kneel down in prayer with God, you can stand before the world. A lot of kneeling will keep you in good standing.

2. Pray :
Wrestle with God in prayers. There's always struggle in the mind of a believer to fluctuate between the nature of Jacob and Israel. Wrestle off Jacob out of you and bring in Israel within you.

3. Be broken by God :
Let nothing breaks you, but God. Spiritual maturity is like becoming more like Christ. That's our biggest calling. Lean on to God.

Let's end this passage with a beautiful song :

What a fellowship,
What a joy divine.
Leaning on the Everlasting Arm.
What a blessedness,
What a peace is mine,
Leaning on the Everlasting Arm.
Leaning, I am leaning,
Safe and secure from all alarms,
Leaning, I am leaning,
Leaning on the Everlasting Arm.

Let's lean on Jesus who has the Everlasting Arm. Amen!

IN TIME OF LONELINESS

I missed all the hugs and loves. I don't have anyone to hug. What a lonely life. Look at God's scripture, He has answer for your lonely life (John 14:18). ''I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.'' Jesus loves you and He will not leave you orphan in your soul. Amen !

The reason for a lonely life is unbelief and rebellion towards God's word. An unbelieving heart dwells in a dry land, but those who believed and obey the word of God dwells in a land of abundance. God says in His word in Psalm 68:22, ''God sets the lonely in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land."

A person may be surrounded by people, yet he may still feel lonely as it has to do more with the soul than with the physical state of being alone. Now what is the Lord saying, ''I will not leave you alone or orphan, I will come to rescue you.''

Being a film-maker and photographer, my camera is very important to me. Suppose you leave your Canon DSLR camera on a tripod at a sea beach and see it from a distance. Somebody tries to grab it or even try to touch it, will you not shout at the top of your voice, ''Don't you even dare. That's my camera."

You don't leave your camera alone in the sea beach. You will come to rescue your camera. How much more, will not God rescue you when you feel alone and misunderstood. You are so precious to God. If the devil try to touch you or harm you, God shouts at the top of His voice, ''Don't you even dare. That's my son."

Seek God in time of loneliness cos He understand what it meant to be lonely & misunderstood as He went through that on the cross. He has to endured the cross just for you & me. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). When you seek the Lord in time of loneliness, He will surround you with His loving Presence. He will fill you with His peace that the world cannot give. Jesus is the Lord. Amen!

LITTLE MONK IN TAWANG - A Travel Documentary Film HD

Little monk in Tawang is a travel documentary film produced by Riba Picture. It tells the story of an amateur film-maker who goes to Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh which lies in the Eastern Himalayan region of India with his younger brother to interview a little monk in the monastery. What thrills the film-maker is the positive outlook of resident monks in spite of their simple monastic lifestyle. And right there in the heart of Tawang monastery, he finds a little monk who is quite shy, yet full of fun and humor while describing his day-to-day life. Finally, in the process of his journey, he finds something coincidence that validates his belief in meeting people either by pre-destination or co-incidence.
